| Anna
is a retired art teacher, but still an accomplished artist and sculptress who exhibits her
work in galleries throughout Italy. She is already cultivating their interest and
teaching her grandson's, Domenico & Alfredo, how to paint and sculpt. She has a
rather complete studio in her Salerno home,
complete with a kiln for firing her
sculptures. Anna and her husband, Alfredo, are warm friendly
people who, despite a language barrier, are able to communicate their warmth and love.
Her husband, Alfredo, a "retired" university professor, now works full
time as a chemist for a large international ceramic colors manufacturer. Alfredo
could perform as an excellent tour guide as he drove the author and his wife on a
wonderful emotional guided tour of Gioi and Paestum. |
